   eBrary is a delivery system for online ebooks from a wide variety of vendors, including most university presses.  With eBrary we could purchase individual titles or subscribe to collections. 

eBrary would also allow us to load records for a selection of their titles into Allecat without buying them.  If and when Allegheny students or faculty actually use a book, we could automatically purchase it.

Use the Comments link at the bottom of this box or email the Library Director to tell us what you think of eBrary, and ebooks in general.  Should the library begin buying more books in electronic format?  Is eBrary a good way to find and read ebooks?
