Digital Image Production
Media Services can create digital images from slides, photos or book illustrations for educational purposes.
Working with other library staff we can coordinate loading images into the Luna digital asset management system.
Projects involving the Luna system should be coordinated with Helen McCullough or Linda Bills.

Within the limits of copyright, we can transfer

Off-Air Taping
Taping from Armstrong Cable
Media Services can record Armstrong cable broadcasts for classroom use to VHS or DVD. Minimal editing is possible, i.e. elimination of commercials, chapter marking, etc.
There is a nominal charge for materials.

Media Equipment
Equipment Management
Medial Services has primary responsibility for in the selection, purchase and maintenance of the library's collection of audio, video and photographic equipment for faculty and student use.
The library maintains media equipment that can be checked out by all community members. It also houses and oversees the circulation of equpment owned by academic departments and available specifically to their faculty and students. It is part of our responsibility to keep the equipment sets complete and in working order.
We can help you determine which equipment is suitable for your project needs.
We can provide instruction on the use of the equipment.
While standard borrowing procedures are handled through the Circulation Desk, special requests are assessed and facilitated through Media Services.
